The Dead Weather
The newest super group made famous due to Jack White’s presence, The Dead Weather features members of the Kills, Queens of the Stone Age, and the Raconteurs. Oh yeah, and Jack White on drums. I don’t know much, but what I do know is that they covered Are Friend’s Electric?, one of my favorite songs ever written. Oh yeah. It’s by Gary Numan, you know, that eccentric guy from the 70s/80s remembered today by Basement Jaxx sampling him (Where’s Your Head At?) and the numerous bands covering him (e.g. NIN’s version of Metal is pretty).
