I don’t usually get involved in discussions, but I think a major point wasn’t made clear. When Damian pointed out that EMI/Capitol only made $5,400 off of all of their video plays, he should have made a point about the percentage of people that would go on to buy the record or at least the respective single.
As of today, adding in the missing 90%, if only 1% of those viewers went on to be a sale, it would still amount to 2,600 purchases from viewers of the WTF video alone.
